The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 9th JIIA-KINU Conference on September 29, 2022 (online meeting). This Conference has been held regularly since 2014 with the Korea Institute for National Unification, ROK (KINU).

Experts from both Japan and ROK participated in this discussion and exchanged opinions on Japan and ROK's North Korea Policy - Challenges and Ways for Cooperation. The two institutes also co-hosted an open webinar on Current Situation of North Korea - Domestic and Foreign Policy, in which experts from both Japan and ROK engaged in lively discussions, including Q&As from many viewers from both countries.
