The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 38th JIIA-IFANS Conference on September 7, 2023, in Seoul. This Conference has been held regularly since 1986 with the institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, the ROK (KNDA-IFANS).

Experts from both Japan and the ROK participated in this discussion and exchanged views on (1) Security Environment in Northeast Asia, (2) ROK-Japan Relations and Japan-U.S.-ROK Cooperation.
