The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 11th JIIA-INSS Conference on September 30, 2024, in Seoul. This Conference has been held since 2010 with the Institute for National Security Strategy, ROK.

Experts from both Japan and the ROK, headed by Mr Tomoyuki Yoshida, Chief Executive Director of JIIA and Dr Suk-hee Han, President of INSS, participated in this discussion and exchanged views on (1) Exploring the sustainability of Japan-ROK relations in response to changes in domestic politics, (2) a plan to deal with North Korea through the promotion of Japan-ROK cooperation.
