The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the JIIA-Sejong Conference on October 1, 2024, in Seoul. This Conference has been held since 2019 with the Sejong Institute, ROK.

Experts from both Japan and the ROK, headed by Mr Tomoyuki Yoshida, Chief Executive Director of JIIA and Dr Hyun-Wook Kim, President of Sejong Institute, participated in this discussion and exchanged views on (1) Outlook for the US Presidential Election and its impact on Japan-US-ROK cooperation, (2) Trends in the Northeast Asian situation and the direction of Japan-ROK cooperation.
