The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) organized a roundtable with The International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on March 8 attended by our Chief Executive Director Tomoyuki Yoshida and Research Fellow Michihiro Tajima.

The participants enjoyed an open discussion about Japan's role under the "Central Asia + Japan" framework as well as the current status and prospects of Japan-Uzbekistan relations.
